ATV Holdings (00707.HK) announced that by the extended deadline, i.e. 4:00 pm on September 9, the company received a total of 16 valid acceptances for approximately 0.141 billion shares of the rights issue shares, representing approximately 21.44% of the total number of shares available for subscription under the rights issue. Therefore, approximately 21.44% of the rights issue shares were subscribed. The remaining approximately 0.515 billion shares of the rights issue shares not subscribed for will be subject to the compensation arrangement.

The placing agent will use best endeavors to induce the underwriters to subscribe for (or as many as possible) the un-subscribed shares of the rights issue shares by no later than 4:00 pm on September 23. The company will not issue any un-subscribed shares for which no placement has been made under the compensation arrangement, and the size of the rights issue will be correspondingly reduced.
