2. Business Overview (Group Companies)
(1) Computing Systems
It is the core business company of the group, and it is developing two businesses: an information service business and a storage agency service business. Since it is an independent company, we are proposing a “one-stop service” without being tied to a manufacturer. As for the business composition ratio of sales, the information service business is about 60% of sales, and the storage agency service business is about 40%.
a) Information service business
The information service business is divided into three sub-segments: “SI/software development (including Google business),” “information processing services (BPO),” and “product and product sales.” Of these, SI/software development is mainly business system and network construction, software development, etc. in response to customer orders, and is classified as a flow type business, but among SI software development, cloud-related services that the company has been focusing on in recent years have the character of a stock type business. Also, in system construction, sales of computer terminals and network devices are also carried out, and sales are recorded as products and product sales. Furthermore, they are also involved in system development for auto auctions (used car sales auctions).
The company's cloud-related services include various things such as digital signage, etc., but sales of Google-related services account for the majority. It provides various Google solutions such as data analysis and corporate portal sites, including groupware such as emails and calendars for corporations and educational institutions. We supported the GIGA school concept and participated in a distance learning support program utilizing “Google for Education,” which is an educational resource that also supports classroom learning. Currently, collaboration has begun in cooperation with NEC ＜6701＞ (hereafter, NEC) for the second phase of the GIGA school concept. Also, since Amazon Web Service “AWS Solution Provider” certification was obtained in 2022/9, AWS-related solutions will also be developed in response to customer requests as an independent SIer.
Information processing services utilize the company's information processing systems and information processing technology to provide services and services. In BPO operations that manage customer data and perform product order/shipping operations based on customer data, various BPO services are developed according to the operations of each company, such as mail-related work and data processing/ordering work for gift shopping at department stores. Furthermore, it is not limited to standalone operations, but also batch orders for back office operations, call center operations, billing/payment management operations, etc. Note, information processing services are a stock type income business. In RPA (robotic process automation), “BizRobo!” Operations are automated by providing tools such as, which contribute to solving labor shortage issues. Also, while invoice preparation agency services are doing well, a “DSK multi-invoice service” that realizes digitization of invoices that also meet invoice system requirements is provided. In addition to simply performing digitization, it is possible to issue invoices in line with individual requests such as PDF data distribution, email transmission, fax transmission, etc., not to mention mailing on conventional paper media, etc., and it also has the advantage of providing total support from invoice preparation to distribution to billing recipients.
b) Storage agency service business
The storage agency service business has 5 subsegments: “storage/collection agency services,” “online payment services,” “remittance services,” “storage agency peripheral services,” and “other revenue.”
A “storage/collection agency service” is a payment slip service and bank account transfer service that can be paid at convenience stores, etc., and is the core of the same business. Specifically, there are convenience store storage agency services (DSK postpaid services are not included), Japan Post transfer MT agency services, cashless payment services (PayPay, LINE Pay, bank Pay, etc.), mobile payment services “Mobaray ☆ DSK”, and account transfer services.
“Online payment services” include credit card settlement services and convenience store paperless payment services. In convenience store paperless payments, consumers can pay at various settlement windows such as convenience stores without using payment slips, and the company's customer companies send payment guides by email to general consumers who are users instead of mailing them. “PayLabo (Pay Lab),” which began in January 2024, will provide a variety of payment menus in one stop.
Domestic remittance and international remittance services were being developed, but the “storefront face-to-face Western Union international remittance service WILL CALL” was terminated in 2024/6. This is because the cost of administrative procedures was high due to differences in corporate culture, etc., and there was no merit of co-creation. Domestic remittance (type 2 fund transfer business) is a service that performs refunds and remittance operations on behalf of customers within Japan, and is also used in refund work associated with cancellations of events, etc.
A “storage agency peripheral service” is a service where payments can be made not only at convenience stores, financial institutions, etc., but also at supermarkets, drugstores, various kiosks, etc. as payment locations for “payment slips,” and it is developed under the name “Biz @gent (Biz Agent).” By developing contract stores, the company is increasing convenience for both the company's customer companies and general consumers.
