Amazon stated, "In order to help DSP (Digital Service Platform) provide drivers with higher wages and benefits, we will invest an additional $0.66 billion next year for an increase in DSP rate cards and bonuses. We expect that our investment will help DSP raise driver wages to nearly $22.00 per hour on average nationwide (depending on their geographical location), an increase of 7% compared to last year." In terms of safety, Amazon stated that by the end of this year, it will use artificial intelligence and technology tools to identify risk characteristics of 0.2 billion roads and provide drivers with 18 million safety tips.
