On the 11th, Nichi-Shin ＜9066＞ announced that its group company, Nichi-Shin Logimare Sdn. Bhd., has installed a photovoltaic system at its Melaka branch and will start operation on August 22, 2024. This is the first introduction of a photovoltaic system at an overseas base of the company.

The total area of this photovoltaic system is 1,276 square meters, and it is expected to generate 339,264 kWh of electricity annually. It is expected to reduce the electricity costs of the warehouse and office at the same branch and also reduce CO2 emissions by 265 t-CO2 annually.

The company group has set "achieving a decarbonized society and contributing to an environmentally conscious circular society" as one of its materiality and is working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the use of renewable energy in its domestic and overseas group companies to solve these challenges.
