Bridgestone will exhibit at the world's largest mining machinery exhibition, "MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2024," held in Las Vegas, USA, from September 24th (Tuesday) to 26th (Thursday), 2024. At this exhibition, we will introduce our mine solutions with the theme of "MOVE MORE WITH LESS".

Bridgestone is strengthening value creation through capital goods BtoB solutions in the solution business, and mine solutions are leading this activity globally. Bridgestone's mine solution combines strong analog with digital, centered around the unrivaled product "Bridgestone MASTERCORE," to amplify value at the "use" stage of customer tires. Furthermore, we continue to take on new challenges to lead customer success by using tires more safely, for longer, better, and more efficiently, and to support the optimization of mine operations. The evolution of such mine solutions will serve as the foundation for Bridgestone's strategic business of "Mobility Tech" and contribute to the sustainable growth of our company through the continuous creation of social value and customer value.

At this MINExpo, we will introduce Bridgestone's new mine solution called "Smart On-site." Based on the trust we have built through our unrivaled products and close collaboration with customers, this solution analyzes tire data acquired from the next-generation tire monitoring system "Bridgestone iTrack" and vehicle/vehicle operation data shared by customers using a unique algorithm that incorporates AI. It contributes to the optimization of mine operations tailored to the specific challenges faced by each customer and mine. Since July last year, we have been providing a new service based on tire durability prediction at a mine in Chile. Through the expansion of "Smart On-site," we will continue to reduce tire costs and vehicle downtime, and contribute to maximizing the productivity and economic value of mine operations. Additionally, by promoting the safe and long-term use of tires and reducing the number of tires used, we can improve resource productivity and reduce CO2 emissions by realizing more efficient and optimal vehicle operation, thereby contributing to the reduction of environmental impact and further realizing sustainable mine operations, embodying the concept of "MOVE MORE WITH LESS."

Bridgestone will enhance the amplification of value focusing on the "top-notch products", and amplify the trust with customers based on that, and by sharing tire data and vehicle/vehicle operation data with customers, it will amplify the value of the data and sustainably create new value based on the corporate commitment "Bridgestone E8 Commitment".
