Yang Chenglong, Vice Chairman of Emperor International, said the group's rental brand, The Unit, had an ideal rental rate since its launch in 2022. The Unit Soho has been available for rent for up to $120 for furnished units since August this year, and the rental rate for the first pre-rental unit has reached 90%.
The Unit Soho offers 69 units, ranging from one to two bedrooms and 6 specialty units ranging from 351 to 564 sq ft., with self-furnished units for rent, and furnished units will be available for occupancy from September onwards. The main target customers of the project are Mainland professionals and professionals, including mechanics, surveyors, managers and students studying law, and a small number of foreigners.
Looking ahead to this year, Yang Chenglong revealed that Emperor International aims to launch a residential project at 1 Hong Tak Street, East Hanshan in the fourth quarter of this year, involving 123 units, and the project has reached its peak stage. Given that The Unit Rental brand has always been ideal for rental income, resulting in stable earnings for the Group, it will also consider retaining part of the unit at 1 Hongde Street, Eastern Peninsula for long-term rental use.
As for the Hong Kong property market, Yang Chenglong said that the imminent interest rate cut in the United States will certainly stimulate the Hong Kong economy and property market, so the property market is expected to move steadily upwards.
