The backstage Nikkei Average started at 35817.42 yen, 341.74 yen lower than the previous day, and the decline slightly expanded from the previous draw (35867.33 yen). Nikkei 225 futures during lunchtime were weak in the 35790 yen to 35980 yen range. The dollar and yen are at a level of 1 dollar = 141.40-50 yen, and the yen appreciates and depreciates by about 80 yen from around 9:00 a.m. As for Asian market conditions, the Shanghai Composite Index is in the negative zone and has fallen by about 0.9%, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index declined drastically and even after it started, the return was slow and it fell by about 1.4%.

The backstage Tokyo Market began with sales slightly ahead of the previous closing. The fact that the foreign exchange market is trending in the direction of yen appreciation and dollar depreciation compared to the morning, and the fact that Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are soft due to overtime trading, etc., seem to weigh on stock prices in the Tokyo market.
