Futu News, September 11th: Hong Kong stocks fell across the board in the morning session, with the Hang Seng Index and the GEM Index falling 1.4% and 1.46% respectively, both hitting new lows in recent adjustments. The Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.72%.
At the noon close, there were 459 gains, 1138 declines, and 1463 unchanged in the Hong Kong stock market.
In terms of sectors, most of the network technology stocks performed poorly. SenseTime-W fell 5.50%, JD.com-SW fell 1.76%, Kuaishou-W fell 1.54%, Alibaba-W fell 1.23%, Baidu-SW fell 0.87%, and Xiaomi-W rose 0.64%.
Oil stocks fell again, with PetroChina falling 4.39%, CNOOC falling 4.38%, Sinopec Corp falling 4.08%, Kunlun Energy falling 3.23%, and China Oilfield Services falling 2.66%.
Coal stocks continued to decline, with China Coal Energy falling 3.96%, Mongol Mining falling 3.43%, Yancoal Aus falling 3.43%, China Shenhua Energy falling 3.34%, Shougang Res falling 2.72%, and China Qinfa falling 2.70%.
Electric power stocks mostly declined, with CGN Power falling 6.38%, China Resources Power falling 6.38%, China Longyuan Power falling 4.71%, Huaneng Power International falling 3.86%, and Datang International Power Generation falling 3.68%.
China mainland banking stocks fell across the board, with Agricultural Bank of China falling 3.68%, Bank of Communications falling 2.38%, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China falling 2.14%, Bank of China falling 2.29%, and China Construction Bank falling 1.85%.
Biomedical stocks rose against the market, with BeiGene rising 5.59%, WuXi AppTec rising 4.66%, Akeso rising 3.95%, WuXi Biologics rising 2.75%, and WuXi Biologics WuXi Biologics Alliance rising 2.03%.
In terms of individual stocks,$TIANQI LITHIUM (09696.HK)$ Up more than 12%. $GANFENGLITHIUM (01772.HK)$ Up nearly 9%, news about Contemporary Amperex Technology temporarily suspending lithium production in Jiangxi.

$COSCO SHIP ENGY (01138.HK)$ The company's revenue in the second half of the year may remain stable due to a nearly 6% drop in crude oil transportation volume caused by OPEC production cuts.
