Daiwa released a research report stating that the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange announced adjustments to the Hong Kong stock connect list, with Alibaba-W ((09988.HK), Cloud Village (09899.HK), and others included in the Hong Kong stock connect, while China Mobile Games (00302.HK), Lemon Entertainment (09857.HK), Tongdao Liepin (06100.HK), and the remaining 30 stocks were removed from the list.

Daiwa predicts that the newly included stocks are expected to attract the attention of mainland investors. As of September 7, among the stocks covered by the bank, Tencent (00700.HK), Meituan-W ((03690.HK), Xiaomi-W ((01810.HK), Bilibili-W (09626.HK), and East Buy (01797.HK) are held by Beishui with 10%, 12.76%, 14.5%, 16.03%, and 27.49% respectively.
