Beijing time 3, NHK of Japan reported Friday that a surveillance video showed Ghosn, the former chairman of Nissan, leaving his Tokyo home alone shortly before he accidentally fled Japan.
The video was filmed by a camera installed at his home around noon local time last Sunday (December 29). The video did not show Ghosn returning home.
NHK said Japanese police suspected that Ghosn might have left home to meet someone before leaving for the airport. Under the terms of bail, Ghosn was required to install security cameras in front of his home.
