Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening everyone. It is around the time when Typhoon No. 10 is turning into a low-pressure system after passing through the mountains of Yakushima and other parts of Japan. I believe there were people who were affected in the Kyushu and Shikoku regions. I would like to express my sincere condolences and prayers for your safety and speedy recovery. Today, once again, I spend the consecutive holidays without being able to buy rice... I am an individual investor, Sana-sae.

This is the 84th volume of the series of articles written by a female investor in her 40s who was the runner-up in the Evening Fuji-sponsored Stock 1GP Grand Champion Tournament in 2021. Along with the column in the title, I will introduce the recent focus stocks.

In addition to Bank of Japan Governor Ueda's continued rate hikes and hawkish stance, the growing concern about a recession in the United States led to the collapse of the yen carry trade bubble created by speculators such as hedge funds, resulting in a historic sharp drop in the Nikkei Stock Average on August 5th. However, the market has since developed into a strong rebound market by the end of August.

There may be many individual investors who say, 'I was so scared and sold everything! I can't buy anything now!' Yes, I understand that feeling. I have had nothing but failures (tears). However, I believe that the experience of several failures and the reflection that came with each one have given me the courage and composure to buy during the recent market crash. But I don't intend to say things like 'Investors must learn from their failures and experiences!' right now. Instead, I just want to convey the fact that the recent market crash has significantly reduced the remaining credit buying of Japanese stocks, and in terms of supply and demand, Japanese stocks are in a very strong position. In other words, I want to say, 'Now is the time to fearlessly buy strong stocks on dips' (※This is my personal opinion, haha). So, in this article, I will introduce a group of stocks that I have been eagerly watching recently.

Due to the significant consolidation of previous margin purchases, and the recovery of the growth market index, I would like to target some recent IPO stocks that seem to have a light upside. First, there is Astroscale HD <186A>, which specializes in space debris and is attracting attention through partnerships and collaborations with major domestic and international companies such as Airbus and JAXA. If it becomes popular, I expect it to rise quickly. Also, Timey <215A>, which offers gap-time work services, seems to be forming a temporary correction on the chart as of the end of August, but expectations for good performance continue. In addition, bio stocks such as VIS <130A> and Heartseed <219A> are attracting attention due to the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the expansion of the bio industry and the fact that they seem to have a light upside in addition to being a trend.

In addition, from other individual stocks, Genda <9166>, which has been running on a market with no upper limit due to the popularity of inbound Japanese amusement businesses since its listing last year, Jafco G <8595>, which has rebounded sharply from a sharp decline due to expectations for good performance, and Mitsui E&S <7003>, which is attracting speculation in the logistics business for ports, such as port cranes, amid increased restrictions on Chinese-made products by the United States. The stock price is at an undervalued level and the chart looks good from around here, so I'm paying attention.

Yes, I would like to introduce more, but that's all for now.

In my recent blog, in addition to the stocks introduced above, I pick up the 'Top 3 Stocks to Watch' every month as 'Sanae's Solo Stock 1GP' and measure their price range every weekend. Of course, there are various topics other than stocks... Please feel free to enjoy it even if you are curious or scared (lol). Well then, have a nice trade.
