Lenovo Group (00992.HK) announced an extension and upgrade of its partnership with the Formula One Championship (F1) to the highest level. Starting next year, Lenovo will become the global partner and global technology partner of F1, and Motorola, a subsidiary of the group, will become the global smart phone partner of F1.

As a global partner of F1, Lenovo will continue to provide advanced technology equipment, solutions, and services to support the efficient operation of F1 on the track and remotely. Under the agreement, Lenovo will also be the title sponsor for two races each season.
