The “Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Decarbonized Growth Economic Structure Transition Promotion Councilor's Award” of the Japan Star Award is given to those that are excellent as containers, packaging, and packaging materials, have carried out 3R efforts to curb emissions of container packaging waste, and have made the best efforts to adapt to the environment. The winning product was “Soflan Premium Deodorizer,” and Mebius Packaging Co., Ltd. received the award in collaboration with Lion Corporation. Also, the “Japan Marketing Association Chairman's Award” is given to those that excel in sales promotion in particular. The winning product was the “Kyukute Eco Peko Bottle,” and Mebius Packaging Co., Ltd. received the award jointly with Kao Co., Ltd. and Yoshino Kogyosho Co., Ltd.
The Toyo Seikan Group has listed “development and provision of products and services that support diverse lifestyles” and “development and provision of environmentally friendly products and services” as material issues (important issues), and will continue to contribute to the environment and the realization of a sustainable society through the development and provision of these products and services.
