According to the announcement, TOPSTANDARDCORP (08510) reported revenue of HKD 4.982 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024, a decrease of 16.88% year-on-year. The company's owners recorded a loss of HKD 3.132 million, compared to a profit of HKD 10.45 million in the same period last year. The loss per share was 1.89 HK cents.

The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to the fact that the income primarily came from newly opened restaurants. The Sushi Qubey and Aori DSR brand restaurants opened in June 2023, December 2023, and March 2024 respectively, and are still in the early growth stage.
