According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Kuangchi Science (00439) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The group achieved revenue of HKD 32.028 million, a decrease of 4.28% compared to the same period last year. The company's owner suffered a loss of HKD 5.226 million, a decrease of 42.57% compared to the same period last year. The loss per share was 0.85 HK cents.

The announcement stated that the main reason for the narrowing loss was the steady development and improvement of the company's core business in the field of metal structural components for tooling, as well as the confirmation of related income of approximately HKD 11.8 million through the sale of investment properties held by the group.
