CNT GROUP (00701.HK) announced on August 29th that during the six-month period ending on June 30, 2024, the group recorded a loss attributable to shareholders of approximately 13,460,000 Hong Kong dollars, compared to 3,320,000 Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year. The loss during the period was mainly due to a significant decrease in fair value of investment properties held by the group in Hong Kong and mainland China, amounting to approximately 11,630,000 Hong Kong dollars as of June 30, 2024, while a net fair value gain of approximately 12,830,000 Hong Kong dollars was recorded as of June 30, 2023.

Taking into account the income generated by CPM Group, the group's income for the period was approximately 161,110,000 Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 37.1% compared to the previous year.
