In the “White Paper for Elementary School Students” recently published by the Japan Institute of Advanced Studies, Research, and Education, the career that Japanese elementary school boys most want to pursue is an influencer blogger.
According to information, the Japan Institute of Science, Research and Education regularly publishes survey reports on the daily study and living conditions of elementary school students. In the August 2019 “White Paper on Elementary School Students”, 1,200 elementary school students from all over the country were surveyed.
According to the survey results, what Japanese elementary school boys most want to do is being an influencer blogger in the video and other fields. The second to fifth places are soccer players, baseball players, car drivers, and police, respectively. The job that Japanese elementary school girls most want to do is as a pastry chef. The second to fifth places are kindergarten teachers, nurses, doctors, and flower shop workers. Compared to the survey results 30 years ago (1989), the top three occupations that elementary school students most want to do are completely different.
According to information, most video bloggers who are loved and welcomed by Japanese elementary school students will upload content such as creative inventions, unboxing videos, meal content (food broadcasts), fun and spoof incidents, and live games that open their minds with their friends.
