Earlier, this electric vehicle startup company issued a recall measure to address the issues. In April of this year, NHTSA conducted a preliminary evaluation of 6,781 Fisker vehicles produced in 2023, following complaints that passengers were unable to open the doors from the inside or outside handle. In January of this year, NHTSA launched another investigation into the 7,745 Ocean models due to complaints that the regenerative braking partially failed on low-traction surfaces without alerting the driver.
