Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd., hereinafter referred to as "the Company," has conducted a review of information disclosure based on the framework proposed by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

The Company has supported TCFD's recommendations since 2018 and has been disclosing information based on the TCFD framework since 2019. However, taking into account the rapidly changing current situation, the Company has reevaluated the scenario analysis proposed by TCFD and conducted calculations on the financial impacts of climate change risks and opportunities in the four categories of "Governance," "Strategy," "Risk Management," and "Indicators and Targets." The Company has expanded the disclosure content accordingly.

The Company regards TCFD's recommendations as contributing to the development of a sustainable society and will continue to expand the disclosure based on the TCFD framework, including financial impact information on climate change risks and opportunities.

(Note 1) TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures): A task force established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) to disclose climate-related financial information. It recommends disclosure in the four categories of "Governance," "Strategy," "Risk Management," and "Indicators and Targets," evaluating the financial impacts of climate change risks and opportunities on management.
