Liu Liehong, Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated at the opening ceremony of the 2024 China International Big Data Industry Expo that the systematic layout is being cultivated to promote the development of the big data industry. Based on thorough research, the National Bureau of Statistics is currently working with relevant departments to develop industry development policies.

The policy aims to seize the strategic opportunities for the growth of the data industry, nurture data enterprises, shape the industry ecosystem, and transform the advantages of the mainland's large-scale market and the massive amount of data into industrial advantages, thereby improving the competitiveness of the data industry.
