According to the announcement by Skylight Holdings (03882) on its interim performance for the six months ended June 30, 2024, the group achieved a revenue of 0.139 billion Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 2.7% compared to the same period last year; the loss attributable to owners of the company was 24.635 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 36.9%; the loss per share was 2.4 Hong Kong cents.

In the first half of 2024, the group's camera products and related accessories business achieved a revenue of approximately 0.136 billion Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of about 2.0% compared to the first half of 2023, which was approximately 0.139 billion Hong Kong dollars. Despite our efforts to improve efficiency and reduce costs, the global demand for consumer electronics products remains weak. The camera business recorded a loss of approximately 21.6 million Hong Kong dollars, compared to a loss of 35.7 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period of 2023.

In the first half of 2024, the group developed several Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) products for promotion to customers. The group expects these new products to contribute to revenue starting from the fourth quarter of 2024. In the second half of 2024, the company will continue to strive to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
