Texchem Resources has announced the retirement of its Group Chief Executive Officer Yap Khee Keong effective 4 September who turns 60. Yap holds 908, 250 ordinary shares in the group.

He is the President & Group CEO, President & CEO Industrial Division, President & CEO Venture Business Division

Yap joined Texchem Resources Bhd in 1988. He has more than 29 years of experience in the sales, marketing and distribution of industrial raw materials and has also been actively involved in the polymer manufacturing industry specialising in the electronic and medical devices sectors.

He held positions such as Director, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer,
Deputy Chairman and Executive Chairman in various companies within Texchem Resources Bhd Group of Companies.
