China Finance APP reported that Keck Seng Inv (00184) announced unaudited interim results for 2024, with revenue of approximately 0.809 billion Hong Kong dollars, a 2.71% decrease YoY; net profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was 87.33 million Hong Kong dollars, a 92.99% increase YoY; basic and diluted earnings per share were 25.7 Hong Kong cents, with an interim dividend of 0.05 Hong Kong dollars per share.

The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to the devaluation of the Vietnamese dong, which had a negative impact on the group's overall income. The increase in operating profit was mainly attributed to the HK$0.156 billion income generated from the sale of assets classified as held for sale in the first half of the year.
