Meanwhile, Mitsukoshi Isetan was the top decliner among the constituents of the Nikkei average, down 5.93%, followed by Taiyo Yuden, which fell 5.25%.
On the other hand, the top two contributors to the increase in the Nikkei average were Fast Retailing and Nitori Holdings, which pushed the index up by approximately 45 yen. Furthermore, Line Yahoo was the top gainer among the constituents of the Nikkei average, up 5.53%, followed by Nitori Holdings, which rose 3.39%.
