Tomypak announced that TFP, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tomypak, had entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Goldcoin for the proposed disposal of the Senai Property together with factory buildings and fixtures and fittings for a total cash consideration of RM31 million.
The proposed disposal however is conditional upon Goldcoin obtaining the approval of the Economic Planning Department of the Prime Minister's Department for the acquisition of the Senai Property, or the company obtaining a letter of confirmation from EPU that no approval of EPU is required within 3 months from the date of the SPA.
The Senai Property is located with an area of approximately 4.1369 hectares in Kawasan Perindustrian Senai Fasa 3 Senai Johor..
Tomypak said the disposal provides the subsidiry an opportunity to realise the value of the Senai Property which represents part of its idle and non-core assets, whilst providing a surplus cash flow arising from the sale.
