According to the news from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on August 22, Aurora Mobile Technology Co., Ltd. (Aurora Mobile) has passed the listing hearing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with China International Capital Corporation and Pu Yin International serving as its joint sponsors.

According to the prospectus, Aurora Mobile was established in 2012. Its product pipeline covers the measurement and intervention of a wide range of cognitive impairments caused by vascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, mental disorders, and developmental defects in children. As of July 5, 2024, the company's core product, the brain function information management platform software system, has been commercialized for eight indications of four major types of cognitive impairments, and several other indications of cognitive impairments are under development.

As of July 5, 2024, Aurora Mobile has three other products that have obtained regulatory approval in China: cognitive ability screening and assessment software, one product has obtained regulatory approval in the European Union (i.e. cognitive function disorder treatment software), and six candidate products are in different stages of pre-clinical, clinical development, or registration process.

As of July 5, 2024, Aurora Mobile's system has been included in the reimbursement catalog of provincial medical insurance in 30 provinces in China. According to Frost Sullivan's data, Aurora Mobile is also the first hosting unit of a project initiated by the National Health Commission. The company's task under this project is to help the National Health Commission establish cognitive centers in more than 2,100 public hospitals nationwide and promote the development of China's market for cognitive impairment digital therapies.

Aurora Mobile also cooperates with hospitals to establish cognitive centers other than those under the National Health Commission project, in order to establish long-term business relationships with participating hospitals. As of July 5, 2024, Aurora Mobile has helped more than 80 hospitals in China establish cognitive centers, including leading hospitals certified by the National Health Commission in various medical specialties as "National Medical Centers".

In terms of finance, for the financial year 2021, 2022, 2023, and the three months ended March 31, 2024, Aurora Mobile achieved revenues of 2.299 million yuan, 11.291 million yuan, 67.2 million yuan, and 25.884 million yuan, respectively. In contrast to the rapidly growing revenues, Aurora Mobile has been in a perennial loss phase, with losses of 0.698 billion yuan, 0.502 billion yuan, 0.359 billion yuan, and 51.608 million yuan for the years 2021 to 2023, totaling over 1.5 billion yuan in three years.
