Chanjet (01588.HK) announced its interim performance on August 22nd. In the first half of 2024, the group achieved revenue of RMB 4,528.8 million, a 21% increase compared to the same period last year. Among them, cloud subscription revenue was RMB 3,078.5 million, a 35% increase compared to the same period last year. Cloud subscription revenue accounted for 68% of the total revenue. The cloud subscription contract liability at the end of the reporting period was RMB 6,449.6 million, a 21% increase compared to the end of last year.

During the reporting period, the group achieved gross profit of RMB 3,271.3 million, a 33% increase compared to the same period last year. The net loss attributable to the owners of the parent company was RMB 98.8 million, while the same period last year recorded a net profit of RMB 181.4 million attributable to the owners of the parent company, including: (i) The revenue from the sale of finance and taxation skill training products and services in the same period last year was RMB 437.5 million, and there was no such revenue in the current period; and (ii) The fair value profit of non-listed equity investments recorded in the same period last year was RMB 309.9 million, while the current period recorded a fair value loss of RMB 98.2 million. Excluding these two non-operating factors: the net loss attributable to the owners of the parent company during the reporting period was RMB 0.6 million, a significant decrease compared to the net loss of RMB 5,661 million attributable to the owners of the parent company in the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the group's net cash flow from operating activities turned positive, reaching RMB 493.3 million. As of the end of the reporting period, the group's cash and bank balance was RMB 123.456 million, maintaining a healthy and stable financial condition.
