On August 21, Gelunhui reported that Huaxin Environmental Protection (301265.SZ) announced that the company held the sixteenth meeting of the third board of directors on August 20, 2024, and approved the "Proposal on the Company's External Investment." In order to further promote the development of the company in the field of hazardous waste resource utilization, extend the industrial chain, and achieve multi-industry horizontal integration and multi-track coordinated development, Huaxin Green Source Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "Huaxin Environmental Protection" or "Party B") intends to sign project-related agreements with the Qilin District People's Government of Qujing City (hereinafter referred to as "Party A"). The total planned investment for this project is about 0.5 billion yuan (including working capital). Supported by Party A, Huaxin Environmental Protection will carry out project investment in the Yuezhou Chemical Park of Qilin Industrial Park, fully leveraging the advantages of both parties, extending Huaxin Environmental Protection's industrial chain, and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure. The project will be implemented by a wholly-owned subsidiary established by the company, and the wholly-owned subsidiary will be established after the agreement is signed. As of the date of the report disclosure, the agreement has not been signed.

The project plans to use approximately 120 acres of land, build four recycling and disposal production lines (using advanced hydrofining process), and have a processing capacity of 0.12 million tons per year of waste mineral oil after completion; supporting the construction of two waste mineral oil packaging material disposal production lines (one for iron packaging material and one for plastic packaging material); and constructing one 0.01 million tons per year waste emulsified liquid disposal production line.
