AB Builders (01615.HK) announced that it is expected to record a post-tax profit of between 1 million Macau dollars and 3 million Macau dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, while the net loss for the six months ending on June 30, 2023 is approximately 10 million Macau dollars.

The announcement stated that the significant improvement in performance is mainly due to (i) an increase in gross profit resulting from high-profit margin decoration projects and subsequent processing projects, despite a decrease in total revenue; and (ii) an increase in other income (such as interest income).
