SC Holdings (00413.HK) announced in a statement on August 20 that the group recorded a revenue of approximately HKD 1,169,000,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2024, an increase of 3% compared to the same period in 2023. During this period, the group incurred an after-tax loss of approximately HKD 80,900,000 (2023: approximately HKD 84,300,000).

In 2023, a gain from the sale of subsidiary companies of approximately HKD 78,200,000 was recognized for the same period. Excluding the aforementioned gain, the after-tax loss for the same period in 2023 was approximately HKD 162,500,000. During this period, the group significantly reduced the loss by approximately 50% through improving the production efficiency of the trade and manufacturing division and implementing effective control measures. The overall financial, business, and trade condition of the group remained stable.
