MCE Lands RM52 Million Deal With PROTON

MCE Holdings Berhad (MCE) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Berhad, has secured contracts from PROTON worth approximately RM52.13 million to supply automotive electronic and mechatronic components.

The contract, which extends over a period of 60 months, involves MCE providing parts such as the Front Reading Lamp, Rear Reflector, and Pull Cup Handle Assembly for PROTON vehicles. The supply is set to commence in the first quarter of the financial year ending 31 July 2026.

Dr. Goh Kar Chun, MCE Group Managing Director, remarked: "Winning this project from PROTON underscores the confidence it has in our design and manufacturing capabilities. Securing this contract through a competitive tender process against notable local and regional competitors illustrates that MCE meets the stringent quality and cost-efficiency standards required by leading automakers."

Goh further noted: "We are advancing our automotive electronics manufacturing capabilities as we work towards completing our new facility, the MCE Auto Hub, by early 2025. This new plant will enhance our ability to design and develop advanced electronic components and systems, allowing us to better serve the increasing demand for next-generation vehicles both locally and internationally."

MCE is a prominent original equipment manufacturer (OEM) involved in the engineering, design, and manufacturing of automotive electronics and mechatronic parts for the Malaysian and regional markets.
