In the past few months, many local governments have successively started the "vehicle-road integration" track. The first batch of pilot city lists, including Beijing, Wuhan, Changchun, Fuzhou, and Erdos, have approved the application demonstration projects. Huaxin Securities pointed out that the prelude to the large-scale construction of vehicle-road integration has been opened, and the industry is about to usher in a period of rapid development.
From the notice on the pilot application of "vehicle-road integration" for smart connected vehicles issued by five departments at the beginning of this year, to the announcement of the first batch of 20 pilot cities in July. It only took six months for "vehicle-road integration" to move from closed testing to pilot application. In the past few months, many local governments have successively started the "vehicle-road integration" track. The first batch of pilot city lists, including Beijing, Wuhan, Changchun, Fuzhou, and Erdos, have approved the application demonstration projects.
Huaxin Securities pointed out that the vehicle-road cloud industry chain is widely distributed. According to the joint release of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center and others, the "Scale Construction and Application Reference Guide for Vehicle-Road Cloud Integration" focuses on three main parts: vehicle-mounted terminals, roadside infrastructure, and cloud control platforms. At present, the installation of on-board terminals mainly depends on consumer demand and vehicle manufacturers' supply, while the government-led construction is for roadside and cloud equipment. The market size of smart road infrastructure for vehicle-road cloud cities is about 404.7 billion yuan, and the estimated size of smart roadside infrastructure for expressways is 132.7 billion yuan. The market space of the cloud end is 29.581 billion yuan. With the announcement of the list of 20 pilot cities, projects in various regions will start bidding and construction in succession. The prelude to the large-scale construction of vehicle-road integration has been opened, and the industry is about to usher in a period of rapid development.
