According to Zhijun Finance APP, Asia Energy Log (00351) announced its mid-term financial performance for 2024, with continuous operating revenue of 22.869 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of about 57% YoY; the company's owners should account for a loss of 21.684 million Hong Kong dollars, compared to a profit of 0.151 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year; the loss per share is 1.08 Hong Kong cents.

The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was due to the loss of charter revenue from shipping and logistics business during the dry docking period, as well as the soft consumer market for China Telecom-related business.

The increase in losses was mainly due to the aforementioned decrease in revenue; losses from the sale of financial assets accounted for at fair value; and changes in fair value of financial assets accounted for at fair value.
