According to the announcement released by Asia pioneer entertainment (08400) on the Smart Finance app, the group expects to reduce its after-tax loss by no less than 90% for the six months ended June 30, 2024, compared to the after-tax loss of approximately HKD 7.1 million for the six months ended June 30, 2023.

The decrease in loss for the six months ended December 31, 2024, compared to the six months ended December 31, 2023, was primarily due to an increase in revenue. The group's total revenue increased by approximately 159.6% from approximately HKD 7.7 million in the same period to approximately HKD 19.9 million in this period. This increase was mainly due to a 189.5% increase in revenue from sales and distribution of electronic gambling equipment to casinos compared to the same period, and a 301.2% increase in revenue from consulting and technology services compared to the same period.
