China Sci-Tech industry investment (00339.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting losses to increase by about 1.5 million yuan year-on-year for the six months ending in June this year. The board of directors believes that the expansion of losses is mainly due to the expected decrease of about 0.94 million yuan in the fair value measurement gains and losses of financial assets recognized in profit or loss due to the slowdown of financial markets; the expected decrease of about 0.11 million yuan in dividend income; no other income has been recorded during the period; and the expected increase of about 0.27 million yuan in administrative and other operating expenses.
