ETF review | Overnight US stocks rebound strongly, ChinaAMC NASDAQ 100 ETF(QDII) and GFNZ100 ETF both up more than 4%.

As of the close of trading on August 16th, the three major indexes of A-shares showed mixed performance. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.07%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.24%, and the Chinext Price Index fell 0.08%. The total turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets was 591.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.4 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 3500 individual stocks in the two markets fell. On the market, Huawei HiSilicon and smallpox vaccine concepts led the surge in limit-up stocks, while consumer electronics concept stocks such as AI glasses rose, bank stocks strengthened, and the farming sector was weak all day. The performance of the construction energy-saving related sectors was weak. As for ETFs, overnight US stocks rebounded strongly, with Huaxia Fund Nasdaq ETF and GF Fund Nasdaq ETF both up 4.23% and 4.08% respectively. Japanese stocks rose sharply by 3%, with Huaxia Fund Nikkei ETF up 3.82%. Chinese concept stocks also followed the rising trend, with CMB Fund CSI Overseas China Internet ETF up 3.44% . Hong Kong stocks rose across the board, with HuaAn Fund Hang Seng Index Internet ETF up 3.35%. The farming sector was weak all day, with the farming ETF falling 2.02%. The military industry sector fell, with Fullgoal CSI Military Top ETF down 1.86%. The gaming sector saw a correction, with the game and animation ETF falling 1.75%.
