On August 16th, Glodon Corporation announced its mid-term performance. In the first half of 2024, the group's total revenue was HKD 4.889 billion, down 8.2% from the same period last year. The main revenue of telecommunications services was HKD 4.16 billion, down 11.3% from the same period last year. The company's attributable profit to shareholders was HKD 0.455 billion, down 36.9% from the same period last year. Excluding the impact of investment property revaluation, the decline was 36.4% compared with the same period last year. As of the end of June 2024, Macau Telecom's market share in the mobile market in Macau reached 50.0%, ranking first in the Macau market, and the number of 5G users exceeded 0.62 million households, with a penetration rate of 87.9%. In July 2024, Macau Telecom launched 5.5G commercial services, driving Macau into the "5.5G era" and becoming one of the first 5.5G commercial cities in the world.

As of the end of June 2024, Macau Telecom had opened bilateral 5G roaming services with 140 overseas network operators, covering 104 countries and regions; bilateral 4G roaming services had been opened with 392 overseas network operators, covering 221 countries and regions; and bilateral VoLTE roaming services had been opened with 39 overseas network operators, covering 44 countries and regions, providing solid guarantees for Macau residents to travel and attracting world tourists to visit Macau with high-quality roaming services.

In terms of internet business, Macau Telecom continued to promote customer service upgrades with the FTTR (Fiber-to-the-room) solution. As of the end of June 2024, Macau Telecom's broadband market share was about 97.0%, ranking first in the Macau market. In July 2024, the international website cable.co.uk released a broadband network test report, with Macau ranking third in the world with an average fixed broadband download speed of 234.74 Mbps.
