According to the Smart Finance app, Great Chi Hldgs (00021) announced that the group is expected to gain a surplus of about 8 million to 9 million Hong Kong dollars in the first half of 2024. The surplus was HKD 28.06 million in the same period last year, mainly due to a decrease in the group's income by 70% to 75% compared with the same period in 2023, and a reduction in exchange gains from the group's financial liabilities during this period.
