Lenovo Group (00992.HK) Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing said at the press conference for the first fiscal quarter at the end of June that artificial intelligence (AI) technology is definitely the latest trend in the current technology industry and will further transform the business of Lenovo Group.

Yang Yuanqing believes that the Lenovo Group is not enough to develop Public AI and will have to expand its business to Personal AI, Enterprise AI, Hybrid AI, etc. He said that the group is ready to take on the new trends in AI and will develop more electronic devices that incorporate AI in the future, including AI phones, AI tablets and more. Luca Rossi, Head of Smart Devices Group (IDG), added that the Lenovo Group is in the early stages of the AI PC market and is optimistic about the performance of the AI PC market next year as more new user experiences emerge in the future. He revealed that Lenovo Group will launch a number of new devices and experiences in September this year and is confident of leading the development of AI computing over the next two years.
