DJ Triple-C Bonds Show Signs of Life -- Market Talk
08:07 - A spirited December bond rally is lifting even out-of-favor triple-C rated bonds. After climbing above 10 percentage points last month for the first time since 2016, the average spread on such bonds was down to 9.01 percentage points on Friday, according to Bloomberg Barclays data. Bonds issued by the telecom company GTT Communications and golf-and-country club operator ClubCorp Holdings are among those that have surged in recent weeks, according to MarketAxess.
