Net sales decreased 5.7% from the same period last year to 55.19 yen, operating loss was 0.548 billion yen (loss of 0.391 billion yen in the same period last year), ordinary loss was 0.5 billion yen (loss of 0.359 billion yen), and quarterly net loss was 0.377 billion yen (loss of 0.285 billion yen).

Sales of the commercial kitchen equipment manufacturing and sales business were 5.493 billion yen (5.826 billion yen in the same quarter of the previous year), and segment loss was 0.561 billion yen (segment loss of 0.403 billion yen in the same quarter of the previous year). Since delivery dates related to school lunches, which are the main sales destinations, are concentrated in summer and the end of the fiscal year, sales tend to increase in the 2nd and 4th quarter accounting periods, especially in March, compared to the 1st and 3rd quarter accounting periods.

Sales of the real estate leasing business were 0.025 billion yen (0.023 billion yen for the same quarter of the previous year), and segment profit was 0.013 billion yen (profit of 0.011 billion yen for the same quarter of the previous year).

Regarding the full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, the initial plan is unchanged, with sales rising 1.1% from the previous fiscal year to 37 billion yen, operating income falling 8.0% to 1.81 billion yen, ordinary income falling 7.5% to 1.93 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders falling 9.4% to 1.377 billion yen.
