During lunchtime, the Nikkei 225 futures were trading in a range of 35,400 yen to 35,580 yen. From around 9 am, the dollar-yen exchange rate has been about 30 sen stronger in yen and weaker in dollar at 1 dollar = 147.20-30 yen. In the Asian market, the Shanghai Composite Index is moving upward in the positive territory, up by about 0.4%, while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong opened higher and rose sharply by about 2.0%.
