On August 9, Guolong News | A-shares saw mixed gains and losses in the morning, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12%, the Shenzhen Component Index up 0.06%, and the ChiNext Price Index down 0.12%. The turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets was 365.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 60.2 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 2,500 stocks in the two markets rose. On the market, real estate, dental medicine, new urbanization, and semiconductor sectors are leading the gains; while the vitamin and retail sectors are leading the declines. As for ETFs, overnight US stocks saw a big rebound, with Jingshun Changcheng CSI NASDAQ Science and Technology ETF, Boshi Fund NASDAQ 100 ETF, and NASDAQ ETF Yifangda all up more than 3%, with the latest premium-discount rate of NASDAQ Science and Technology ETF at 8.03%. The oil and gas sector continued to rise, with Fuguo Fund Standard & Poor's Oil and Gas ETF and Jiashi Fund Standard & Poor's Oil and Gas ETF both rising by 3% and 2.8%, respectively. The real estate sector was the biggest gainer, with Huaxia Fund Real Estate ETF and Yinhuwa Fund Real Estate ETF up 2.26% and 2%, respectively. The ChiNext Price Index rose and then fell back, and ChiNext Science and Technology ETF fell by 1.93%. The medical sector pulled back, with Huaan CSI Subdivision Medicine ETF and BioPharmaceutical ETF both down 1.5%. The media sector weakened, and the Penghua CSI Media ETF fell by 1.57%.
