CCS and NACS are the two most commonly used charging standards in North America. Although CCS has received strong support from the US federal government, Tesla's NACS is currently dominating the North American charging network.
Since last year, many electric vehicle manufacturers, including Ford, GM, and Rivian, have announced their 'adoption' of NACS, allowing their car owners to access Tesla's charging network. However, many electric cars currently on the road still use CCS.

ChargePoint CEO Rick Wilmer wrote in a statement, 'With Omni Port, the company has addressed the challenges posed by multiple connector environments, ensuring that drivers of both Tesla and non-Tesla electric vehicles can expect a world-class charging experience.'
As of press time, ChargePoint, which trades on the US stock market, has risen more than 11%.
