Transtech (09963) announced that the group is expected to generate a comprehensive net loss of about HKD 13.5 million-13.8 million in the first half of 2024, while a comprehensive net income of about HKD 5 million was achieved in the first half of 2023.

The directors preliminarily considered that the expected comprehensive net loss of the Group for this period was mainly due to the effect of the following net factors: decrease in sales revenue; increase in provision for inventories; reduction in reversal of provision for accounts receivable losses due to expected credit loss models; and decrease in foreign exchange losses due to fluctuations in the exchange rates of RMB, Thai baht, US dollar and HKD.
