Japanese ADR (American Depositary Receipts) shares fell in comparison with the Tokyo Stock Exchange (146.66 yen equivalent to 1 dollar), Japan Post Bank ＜6178 ＞, Mitsubishi UFJFG ＜8306＞, Marubeni ＜8002＞, Advantest ＜6857＞, Tokyo Elec ＜8035＞, Hitachi, Ltd. ＜6501＞, etc. fell, and general sales became dominant. The Chicago Nikkei 225 futures settlement value is 34,370 yen, which is 700 yen lower than the Osaka daytime ratio.

The US stock market fell. The Dow average closed at 38,763.45 dollars, down 234.21 dollars, and the NASDAQ fell 171.05 points at 16,195.80. Buybacks continued due to easing concerns about the recession, and after getting close, they rose. After a round of buybacks, sales were rekindled due to deep-seated uncertainty about the economy, and higher prices were suppressed. The dollar and yen fell to 146 yen 64 yen in the New York foreign exchange market on the 7th, then rose to 147 yen 68 yen, and closed at 146 yen 76 yen. The resale of yen continued due to observations that the Bank of Japan was cautious about additional interest rate hikes in response to the vice governor's pigeon statement, and dollar buying became dominant as yields rose. NY crude oil futures for the 9 month limit on the 7th were significantly high (NYMEX crude oil closing price for the 9 month limit: 75.23 ↑ 2.03).
