■Kawabe <8123>'s Sustainability Management
Regarding sustainability management, we aim to work on environmental, social, and human themes for children 100 years from now. Specifically, our own brand “NATURAL BASIC” for scarves and mufflers aims to be an environmentally friendly product, such as reducing the amount of water used in the production process by sustaining manufacturing with natural materials and undyed colors. “Felice Regalo” is promoting the cashmere recycling business as a new recycling-oriented business connecting stores and customers in order to realize an ideal society where resources circulate. In the towel field, we agree with the towel recycling project “REBORN COTTON (REBORN COTTON) PROJECT” promoted by the Towel Museum Group, which has parent company Ichihiro as the core.
We are also working on donation activities for part of our sales as part of our social contribution through our original brand. A portion of sales of “GuGu World,” which is popular for its design centered around dog motifs, is donated to the Japan Guide Dog Association (public foundation), and a portion of sales is donated to the Japan Association of Zoos and Aquariums (public corporation) for “KATOKA Mamoru,” a towel and miscellaneous goods with motifs of endangered Japanese creatures.
