“Life Assist 2” provides “indoor camera LS278” to elderly dog homes newly built at the protected animal shelter facility “ani TERRACE”

LIXIL Co., Ltd. (hereinafter LIXIL) provided a “home device” of “Life Assist 2” and a new product “indoor camera LS278,” which has improved monitoring functions compared to conventional products, to the elderly dog home newly established on 2024/7/12 at the protected animal shelter facility “ani TERRACE (aniteras)” operated by the Anicom Group.
The protected animal shelter facility “ani TERRACE” is a protected animal shelter that opened on 2022/4/29 within the commercial resort facility “VISON (VISON)” in Mie Prefecture as a facility aiming for “zero animal slaughter” based on the “agreement on cooperation to promote animal welfare, etc.” concluded between Mie Prefecture and Anicom Holdings Co., Ltd. LIXIL, which thinks about a healthy and comfortable lifestyle, supports this activity and provided 4 products that can be used for pets when “ani TERRACE” was established while aiming to realize a happy lifestyle where people can coexist with pets who are important families and irreplaceable partners who support their lives.
This time, an “elderly dog home” to take care of elderly dogs was newly established on “ani TERRACE” from 2024/7/12, and services have started, and LIXIL has provided a “home device” for “Life Assist 2” and an “indoor camera LS278” to support this activity. The “indoor camera LS278” is a new model that went on sale on 2024/7/1, and is newly equipped with AI motion sensing functions, automatic tracking functions, and zoom functions. Furthermore, the image quality has also been doubled compared to the previous model, and the accuracy of “monitoring” has improved dramatically by being able to check the movements of people and objects in more detail. Thus, dogs can be watched with high accuracy from anywhere 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in an elderly dog home, and both dogs and people can live a safe and comfortable life.

On April 29, 2022, “ani TERRACE” opened at the huge resort facility “VISON (Vison)” with a site area of 1.15 million square meters located in Taki-cho, sandwiched between Ise City and Matsusaka City in Mie Prefecture. “ANI TERRACE” is a dog and cat shelter operated by the Anicom Group to solve social issues with pets. In addition, we operate pet hotels and dog parks for owners.The superwall construction method* is used for the structural part of the building. This construction method is highly airtight and highly insulated, and has high soundproofing performance, making it difficult for pet barking sounds to leak out, so pet owners are also very pleased. It is a facility that realizes soundproofing effects, odor countermeasures with planned ventilation, and a comfortable space with high insulation performance.
LIXIL agreed with this activity and provided 4 products for pets to “ani TERRACE.” An interior window “INPLUS,” which has soundproofing and insulation effects, is installed in the plaza inside the facility, and in addition to suppressing pet barking, we are also taking measures against pet odors using the aroma air diffuser “SEAROMA (SEAROMA),” which also has deodorizing and antibacterial effects. At the same time, an IoT home link “Life Assist 2,” which has a monitoring function, has been installed to control the temperature at night.
