On August 2, Nenglian Zhidian (NAAS.US) officially released its English version of the 2023 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report (hereinafter referred to as the 'Report'). The report disclosed the ESG performance of 2023, covering the company's ESG performance in green and low-carbon operations, technological innovation, employee rights protection, and community public welfare.

Driven by the trend of accelerated transformation of transportation energy from oil to electricity and fast growth of electric vehicle sales, Nenglian Zhidian's new energy charging carbon emission reduction for the whole year in 2023 was 3.293 million tons, with the purchase of clean energy and electricity of 0.305 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 81.14%; assisting downstream charging stations in carbon reduction by 0.2514 million tons; and a total of 0.594 million users participated in carbon-neutral charging activities, promoting low-carbon travel in daily life and constructing the carbon absorption-circulation loop in the green travel scenario.

Digital technology is an important tool for low-carbon operations and energy efficiency improvement. Nenglian Zhidian focuses on automatic driving energy supply, and has completed business layout. On the one hand, the company launched an automatic charging robot integrating cutting-edge technologies such as deep learning, V2X, and 3D vision, which can achieve automatic searching for vehicles, precise parking, automatic driving away, and automatic energy supplementation, and launched a demonstration operation in Zhuobo Garden, Anji, Zhejiang Province; on the other hand, it continuously expands the charging service ecosystem, cooperates with Baidu's high-end automobile robot brand Jidou, and realizes charging interconnection with mainstream new energy main engine factories in China, covering Geely, Hyundai, Jike, Wenjie, Great Wall, GAC New Energy, DeepBlue, Nio, Ideal, Xiaopeng, FAW-Volkswagen, Jihou, and Lantu, etc. This provides more choices for energy supplementation in the automatic driving scenario and is expected to seize opportunities.

At the same time, Nenglian Zhidian upgraded its G-R-E-E-N sustainable development strategy, with the vision of 'letting everyone use green energy' to promote green construction and development throughout the value chain. Combining its own operational goals and industry visions, the company has proposed the 'Green Charging, Green World' GREEN sustainable development strategy and value model. Focusing on ESG actions such as Governance, Reinvention, Eco-consciousness, Empathy, and Nurture, which are the pillars of GREEN core low-carbon and green development and creating a management closed loop for operational performance management in 20 major subdivisions, it realizes the ESG full-life-cycle management that covers all businesses and scenarios, and actively promotes the sustainable development of new energy services.
