Nature Energy Technology (01597.HK) announced on August 2 that the group is expected to record a net loss of no more than about RMB 20 million for the six months ending on June 30, 2024 (the "mid-2024"), while the net loss for the six months ending on June 30, 2023 was about RMB 5.467 million.
The announcement stated that the group's loss in mid-2024 is mainly due to the decrease in gross profit of the group's sales of blade control system products caused by market competition, as well as the increase in employee and other expenses caused by the establishment of the energy storage business research and sales team.
